Day 3 | Giza — Pyramids & The Great Sphinx

Today brings you face-to-face with the most iconic monuments of ancient Egypt.

Your private Egyptologist accompanies you to the Giza Plateau, where the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure rise above the desert landscape.

Explore the ancient pyramid complex and learn about the extraordinary civilization that created these monumental structures.

Continue to the Great Sphinx, one of Egypt's most recognizable monuments, and discover the history and legends surrounding this enormous limestone guardian.

For an enhanced experience, optional access inside one of the pyramids can be arranged.

Day 4 | Luxor — The Valley of the Kings

After breakfast, fly to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes and one of the world's greatest open-air archaeological destinations.

The monumental temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were carved into the mountainside and remain among the most spectacular achievements of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Stand before the colossal statues of Ramses II and explore the richly decorated interiors of the temples, where reliefs and inscriptions reveal stories of royal power, religion and ancient Egyptian life.

Your Egyptologist will explain the extraordinary history of the temples and their relocation to higher ground during the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

After your visit, return to Aswan and continue your journey back to Cairo.

Day 9 | Saqqara & The Royal Mummies
